I got nothing on the Rockets coaching front. I hope its JVG, but Finch wouldn't be a bad choice IMO. He's more knowledgeable than McFail and John Brewer in X's and O's.

I don't want him as HC.

Anyone that's in that locker room now is not helping, so... can we just start over?

Well, Finch was the offensive coordinator and JB was the defensive coordinator ... so ... yeah, there's that.

But is he respected and a strong enough personality? Not so sure. He may be a hell of a coach, but I think the coaching staff needs a 100% makeover.

I'm still confused why Morey gave JB the interim tag and not Finch. Isn't Finch one of the reasons Adelman left? This would have been the perfect time to put Finch in and see what he could do.

Do you think Morey would force feed Finch on JVG as his assistant head coach?

Yeah, possibly the same thinking here, thought it would have been a better decision also at the time.

If there was a time for Finch to be head coach of the Rockets, that time might have passed at the moment.

Sack the entire current staff and move on.

They aren't getting through - needs a fresh start.

He probably should have gotten the chance over JB who clearly wasn't ready. However, they should burn this coaching staff to the ground and start new. Need a completely different direction and to get rid of some dead weight on the roster.

We don't have our priorities straight and we disrespect the game of basketball. But I'm sure finch can change that.

100% of the coaching staff should be fired. Would even fire Morey - clear as day that chemistry and coaching are incredibly valuable; these are two things Morey won't admit to this day, and thus should be fired. He is a WIZARD when it comes to maximizing the value of assets and being an undisputed winner of trades, but he is dumb as rocks if he believes coaching does not correlate to wins.
