Anderson won't even make the Play Off roster for that team. It's manly guys like Greene, Bogut, and Ezekiel being able to camp in the lane, push or flop on defense then offense, and of course set illegal screens. Houston won't be allowed any of those without getting called for it.
We have the players to beat them. The thing that kills us is our system (Moreyball/heroball) and our coaching. Prepare to be highly pissed at the impulsive, random azz subsititutions JB does. I can only wait for Beasley to go off one game, then get benched the next game for absolutely nothing. With that said heres how win: -Bev needs to frustrate Curry. Curry needs to work EXTRA hard for his shots and be forced into a few bad shooting games -Dwight needs to DOMINATE them when they go small. He also needs to hit atleast 55-60% of his FT's -Harden needs to be the best player in the series. I'm not talking about just scoring. All around game -We need to win the rebounding edge -Beasley has to outplay Draymond, or atleast neutralize him
LETS GOO ROCKETS!!!!! UPSET OF THE DECADE. best team in regular season history loses first round to the 8th seed
LETS GOO ROCKETS!!!!! UPSET OF THE DECADE. best team in regular season history loses first round to the 8th seed. All of the non believers in the forums weeks leading up to this are BAD FANS AND SHOULD BE SHAMED. THEY CAN LEAVE
Our only hope is if the Warriors take us lightly and treat us like the Wolves, Lakers, Nuggets. Warriors may not show up for a couple games which would allow us to steal them.
They need to play this line up PG James Harden He handles the ball a lot let the dude QB the team SG KJ Mcdaniels Good defender, huge athlete let him guard Stephen Curry. SF Ariza He should guard Klay Thompson PF Beasley He has been a stud since he arrived. C Dwight Howard Bench PG Pat Beverley SG Jason Terry they need to let Terry use his coaching abilities and coach the bench SF Josh Smith YES I rather play him SF than Corey Brewer PF D-Mo I rather see him start, but he is hurt C Clint Capela
Keys to Victory * Pat or Trevor must slow Curry down by forcing him to the sidelines and trapping him with a big man * KJ must play against Livingston, do not have Terry trying to play Livingston in the post, if JB does we have a chance * Beasley and JSmoove must make Draymond play D. * Our small ball lineup of JSmoove, Beasley, Ariza, Harden, and Beverly must stay with or outscore Draymond, AI, Thompson, Curry, and Barnes. * D12 and Clint must dominate Bogut and Festus * JBB cannot stay with rotations that don't work and must be ready to change immediately * Call timeouts quickly to stop Curry and Thompson runs...
Play lights out defense and shoot 50% from 3 is the only chance the Rockets have to stay competitive.
- Avoid the live ball turnovers giving GSW easy transition points. - Force Draymond Green to be a shooter. - Rockets hit better than 40% from 3. - More Ariza high knees to Klay Thompson. - Hard foul Curry every chance you get (think Robert Horry hip checking Nash).

Key 1 - Compete. The Warriors expect to run through our boys and have mentally worn out the guys wearing our uniforms. They are in our heads... When they punch look to punch back. There are going to be moments in the game that Curry or Klay are just going to go bonkers...If the offense decides to take a pause, the game is effectively over. Key 2 - Length. Its no secret that perimeter defense and length have caused the Warriors real issues. This remains the most important facet of the game against this team. How the Rockets guard the perimeter will determine if the games remain close or Warrior blow out wins. One key match up will be how the Rockets decide to deal with Livingston off their bench. His size and vision allows him to post up his opponent and get those easy 10-15 feet jumpers on the block. The Rockets may have to play KJ McDaniels in those circumstances... Key 3 - Pressure the person initiating the offense for the Warriors off misses. Green, Curry and Livingston often times initiate fast breaks...If they get the ball during a fast break, get into their space..early and as much as possible. Along with pressure, The need to funnel their offense towards the sidelines and then heavily trap. The Rockets have shown some signs of doing so more proficiently. Key 4 - Curry and Klay just cant keep getting off clean jumpers. You live with perimeter shots from Barnes, Green, Barbosa and Green, but when Klay or Curry go off, its really very hard to compete... Key 5 - Use fouls efficiently...If ur gonna hack, bring pain. Touch fouls have hurt the Rockets a ton...Hack down on the arms of guards attacking the lane. If they set dirty picks, be willing to channel "their inner Stockton". You have to play just as dirty Key 6 - Get into the head of Green... The more a team trolls with Green, the more likely he loses control and acts irrationally as a result. The dude needs a pest...and someone that can annoy him defensively. Key 7 - Switch ONLY when you HAVE too. I think the Rockets switch way too much. Against a well motioned offense, switching on every possession is just going to work in their favor. Key 8 - Attack their bigs, especially off the bench. Aside from Green, the Warriors bigs have gotten a pass. Players like Fetus and Speights are really poor interior defenders... If Kerr is willing to gamble for their offensive talents, the Rockets must attack them defensively. Key 9 - When the offense bogs down...RUN the damn ball in the post. Beasley, Howard, Smith or DMo gives us more options, than we think. Key 10 - Go have fun...Think things have been so stressful for these Rockets. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing the Rockets have to lose. And there is tremendous pressure on the Warriors to get back to the finals. The Rockets played a really terrible season and miraculously made the playoffs.
