Sub titles are a must for both BB and BCS. So much of the dialog is so quiet (which is great for effect) but I need to know what everyone is saying.
Was there an episode this past Monday? I was out of town and my DVR didn't pick it up. It's recording 2 episodes next Monday though.
I watch basically everything except live stuff with subtitles on. There's way too much background noise on all of tv. The only other time I might not use subtitles is if watching on phone/table with earphones... but even then I might turn it on. Random, but watching Jeopardy on DVR, with subtitles on completely improves the show. For one, you condense the show a ton by skipping through. For two, they've got their subtitles timed perfectly so it isn't showing you the answer too soon or anything.
Another slow episode. Only 2 left. This season has been underwhelming. Mike takes a back seat to Jimmy and Kim. Jimmy doesn't get to be Saul. The only part I enjoyed last night was when Jimmy was Saul and at the Superfortress.
I still like the show but it's beyond slow compared even to Saul season 1 & any BB episode. Maybe by the finale Mike will have completed his water hose/spike project.
the beginning sequence was very breaking bad. it got me hyped, then chuck un-hyped me. It's been a slow burn but for no reason do I think it's lesser quality tv.
I wonder if Mike's story is more enjoyable because the destination is known. The status of his granddaughter and family are discussed in BB. The status of Tuco and Hector are also known (I guess Nacho is a wildcard). With Jimmy, we don't know what happens with his relationship with Chuck or Kim.
I think I would've liked this season more if I could've marathoned them like 4 episodes at a time. Waiting a whole week for a show that develops this slowly is agonizing.
I have to say, the show has lost it's luster this season. There is still a shiny polish on everything, its well developed, its pretty fluid, I just don't feel as entertained.
Would cast doubt on HHM's competency, which means Mesa Verde could switch back to Kim Wexler for legal representation.
It wasn't dates, it was an address. Due to Jimmy, HHM is going to **** up something major and Mesa Verde will ditch them for Kim.
Jimmy is kicking ass for Kim and I think we are about too see how the bell man ended up in a wheelchair courtesy of Mike..maybe even and introduction too Gus
I think the photocopy store kid is going to tell on Jimmy, which will drive Kim away from him, resulting in Jimmy becoming Saul. Not sure what exactly Mike is up to with the hose, but I'm thinking Hector is the target. I've enjoyed this season more than the first, although it is very slow. I think it's about to go down the last two episodes.
This season is still enjoyable for me, but not as much as last season.. In season 1 every episode there would be a moment of progression towards Saul, this season he takes a step towards then back and so on and so on. I'm ready for him to really make the turn!
