It was worse when he was on the team, GARM was utter hell; and to be honest not too many people are going to happy with someone that roots for a specific player over the organization/team. This is a Houston Rockets-centric forum after all. I too believe he's a below average floor, above average ceiling type of player. He's been great for the Hornets so far.
Red, what set this place on fire was a few things. 1 - The over the top expectations for Lin by his fans and the admittedly pointed outlook against teammates and coaches. 2 - The insanely venomous attacks against those fans by other posters. They hunted down twitter accounts and posted disparaging remarks about the Lin fans and used vile references...some of which the mods were quick to act on. Neither group acted sanely...but after seeing Trump and Rubio go at it, who can be surprised at the comments of a few basketball fans.
Misogyny was hurtful and destructive in the '70s, and still is today. It's Easter and you continue with your pretense that your words are somehow righteous and pure. If you actually have any religious inclinations within you, may G*d forgive you for your sick thoughts about people's moms.
Jerry Lin back to doing what he has been doing since all star break - laying bricks 2/11 shooting for 4 points and apparently some typical Jerry airballs LULZ <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RgeN9aubTJw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I disagree. His fans will stick with him through thick and thin. Those are the best fans, not ones who disappear when the going gets tough.
