Except 99% of the time, the campaign wont have police (even presidential campaigns). Campaigns usually use staff members to politely walk people out. You plan for this stuff in advance. It's really not that difficult.

And no one's goal is to be politely escorted by campaign staff. And even if they were escorted out by police, that's better than having random campaign supporters engage in violence. At least police are trained on this stuff.

hey if you're going to have a military industrial complex might as well flex your muscles right? besides i think we all agree, rather have and win psychological warfare than real warfare.

Only if you don't have an idiot as commander in chief who is threatening to commit war crimes and the military leaders are already on record saying they can't follow those orders.

Sorry, but someone who is seen yelling hystericaly and shouting out threats but has a military that won't follow his orders is far less effective than someone who speaks softly and carries a big stick.

So that justifies sucker punching them, kicking them and spitting in their faces?

Also if you watch the video you will see the person punched was walking towards the concourse out of the rally when he's punched.

You're saying that Trump wouldn't actually use the military against Mexico? So it's an empty threat then.

I don't know him well enough to hate him but I do think he and his campaign is a threat to this country.

Any thoughts on sucker punching a protester as he's leaving a rally?

Yeah it is assault. I didn't respond because you put words in my mouth. Good luck with the Sanders campaign.

Trump has police. So your stats (which I'm sure are completely true because no one asks for links for liberals) are irrelevant. A few weeks ago a sheriff had to release a statement defending themselves as not racist. These people want to be thrown out. That is their goal. They are not the brightest bulbs. The fact they may get assaulted because they are surrounded by racists getting hyped by Trump makes them even dumber.

Donald Trump has some of the appeal of Andrew Jackson.

The problem with Trump's rallies and the violence is that he encourages it. End of story. That's all.

No other politician does this, this is not a thing at any other rally or speech. He encourages this violence and eggs his supporters on to do it.

Yes, some of the protesters want attention. Such is the nature of a protest, to get attention. You know what would make them stop? If Trump calmly has them removed then it becomes a non-story.

Trump has millions of people show up to his rallies and there were 2 incidents of violence, a push and a punch and now all of the sudden all Trump supporters are violent thugs? You people are insufferable.

If only that was the case for all of the incidents. Since Trump openly encourages this, every single time a protester is attacked it will be news. Because Trump again encourages it. Who is the last presidential candidate to encourage violence at his rallies?

Oh I thought you said it would all be over if only that happened. I guess your solution is worthless. Protesters always "win". Just like hunger strikes. The person in power will look bad.

And also possibly Donald Trump's own campaign manager. Then we have Donald Trump encouraging this type of behavior so that's a problem also.

Yes, it is a only a couple supporters that have done this. But Donald's own talk encourages it.

When has he actually encouraged violence against protesters?

No, as was pointed out. This isn't some isolated incident, this isn't the first time a protester attended a rally and looked to disturb it.

The difference is the politicians that are holding the rally don't encourage the violence, therefore it is not linked to said politician.

Since Trump is on the stage saying "I'd like to punch that guy!" and then a guy gets punched, well then it's linked back to Trump. That is the story and rightfully so.

are you f***ing joking? he offered to pay the legal fees of anyone who would punch a protester. he constantly talks about how he would like to punch protesters. he constantly points out the media and works his dimwitted goose-stepping followers up into a frenzy about them to the point that the press has expressed concerns about their safety. an attendee sucker-punches a protester right in front of the cops and the protester is the one taken down by cops.
