If you don't want the fanbase to cheer an injury, don't create a scenario where an injury to the team's QB is a positive development for the team. Fans are going to cheer a shot at making the playoffs and that's what it meant when the team's starting QB went down this past year. The people who put the roster together failed if the fanbase isn't devastated by an injury to the starting QB
If true this was a huge gaff IMO. Everyone could see that Peyton was done physically last year. The decision to move away from Peyton and focus on re-signing Brock should have been made the day after the super bowl.
No...regardless of any player's performance and regardless of whether or not he is on the team you are cheering for or the opponent, it is classless to cheer an injury.
People aren't REALLY cheering the injury, they are cheering what the injury represents. Either way, whoever wants to whine about it can whine about it, but that's just how it is and how it is going to be.
Anyone who cheers as a player lies injured on the field, regardless of whether or not it is for the injury or for the fact that the injured player will now be replaced, is classless.

Fascinating story about Wade's defense in Denver. Kubiak got stuck with Wade. (again) His first choice was Vance Joseph but the Bengals wouldn't let him go. His next choice was Richard Smith, lol! Smith was looking at Atlanta though so Kubiak explored... Reggie Herring! Elway wouldn't let him make him the DC. So they waited on Richard Smith and eventually named Wade the DC as a last resort.
Kinda reminds me of the Rockets and James Harden. Everyone thought we were crazy giving james the money that we did but look how it panned out. Sometimes you have to take risks and hope they pan out. It certainly is better than going 41-41 and getting the 14th pick or in the texans case going 8-8, 9-7 and being stuck in mediocrity.
Encouraging comments from the sideline guy. No one knows how well Osweiler will do. But, the Texans had to do something about the QB position, and I think Osweiler was probably the best option. Drafting the third or fourth best QB and then hoping he develops into a quality player takes time, and is far from each a sure thing. I'm excited to see what we do in the draft, and I'm looking forward to see how this team comes together next year.
Broncos being worried about Peyton's ego is a ****ing joke. They would have released him if he didn't retire I don't care how Elway is trying to spin it to look better in the media's eyes. They should have been working to get a deal signed by Osweiler before free agency started because it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to know that if Brock hit the open market his price was going to go up. Their was a lot of talk last season about the Broncos oline not being very good, but now its no mention of that its just Osweiler holds the ball too long. I guess Manning holds it too long too because he was getting beat up when he wasn't throwing the ball to the defense early last season too.

Absolutely. It would have meant that the Texans had hope of getting back in the game. A Hoyer injury in the first quarter might have been enough for the Texans to win the game outright. When your head coach creates a situation to where the guy he starts at QB is actively detrimental to the success of the team, that's just how it is. People are going to be happy about things that are good for their team.
He literally cheered every time Hoyer got hurt this season. Of course he would. He probably would have celebrated like we won the Super Bowl. Lol
Interesting..you'd be cheering while a guy is crumpled on the field who may have just broken a neck, may be paralyzed, may have trashed a knee so bad that he will never play or walk right again, simply because in your mind, it is for the good of the team. Rather than sit in respectful silence, you'd be on your feet cheering, because the backup may play better. Stay classy.
