Why would any superstar really want to play with Harden?

The question should be why wouldn't any superstar want to play with Captain America James Harden!

That's right he lead the USA to victory and he plays in Houston.

Yes, i think Harden hate has gonna quite too far, he got his flaws, but we all saw what he can do when he came guns blazing out of USA camp. He needs a right coach with the right system, so he would be more assertive, i'm sure if we get a real good coach, Thibs? Star players would be interested to play with him.

Has anyone actually been watching Harden over the last month? The guy is without a doubt a top 10 player in this league, and those are very hard to come by. You don't get rid of those guys. He has been bad on defense this year, but over the last month that has improved dramatically. No superstar is perfect. How did the Thunder do last year when Durant was hurt and everything fell on Westbrook? They missed the playoffs. Recently there was a stat released where Lebron is 5/47 on game tying or go ahead shots in the last five seconds of games over the last ten seasons. I know Harden's stats are better than that. Harden has less help than any other superstar in the league. It seems to me a lot of Rockets fans expect to much of James.

 

Ariza's shots have gone up from his time in Washington. Dwight averaged around 800 shots the 3 seasons before last. He's more than halfway there now. Also tell me any other player on this team that should be shooting the ball more. Bev on occasion and he does take his fair amount of 3s and rafer-esque floaters.

 

I wonder this at times as well. Seems like people have latched on his start to the season (admittedly bad) and ran with it. His play has improved substantially lately and few seem to be really acknowledging it.

The team is built around Harden - they need to do a better job of putting complimentary pieces around him.

He still has many flaws like his lack of defense and carelessness with the ball, but he is still a top 5ish player in the league.

You don't flip those players, you build around them....remember we almost flipped Hakeem and look how that turned out.

Stay the course, and start getting players who move off the ball and can catch and shoot, and play D, like Bev, Ariza, and DMo......and not ones who clog the paint which stops him from driving like Howard.
