So we gave up our best pf, when healthy, and our best shooter. We will no doubt lose Dwight at year end (even if he wanted to stay he won't after being so aggressively shopped) and got a first and a filler for that. I'd call it par for the course as the rest of the season has gone.

Brewer gambles too much to be a good defender. Thornton is a flat out bad defender, but at least he can score. Neither is particularly great.

For the first time in a long time as a rox fan I am looking MORE forward to the Astros season opener than what this team will do. If they make the playoffs we will get thoroughly embarrassed to the spurs or warriors and we are not climbing up to 6 or 5. I just don't get it. We have ZERO inside game now where as DMO could make a hook shot. We have ZERO firepower off the bench. Yea Marcus could be cold, other times he could light it up. I just have no clue what Morey is trying to do. Maybe he is just faking it until he gets s*** canned. I don't know.

#20, but you're going to replace the only starting caliber PF AND the best bench scorer on the team with one pick in the 20's?

The Rockets traded away 2 of the few bright spots on the team and kept all the scrubs, they have no intention of competing this year.

Dmo isn't even playing. what are you complaining about. Were you realistically expecting some quick fix for this team today. Well you got your reality check

Motiejunas isn't a starting caliber PF on a good team.

    yes bright spots

#1. a player coming off major back surgery which is approaching over a full year and is still not healthy

#2. a chucker off the bench who isn't any good defensively.

my how the Rockets are going to miss these bright spots

The pick is not going to be in the 20s. This trade will not help DET this year. And Courtney Lee will offset Tobias Harris. CHA will start winning again, after a series of injuries. There is a significant chance DET fails to make the playoffs.

In other words, this is the BEST we could get for DMo. Keeping him would be risky too. Like keeping Dwight.

He's by far the best PF on the roster right now. Obviously the Rockets aren't a good team, but he was the best they had and they dumped him for nothing.

now that he's gone you're still trying to push the agenda. it's ok. we can tell you're upset lol

so i guess the by far the best pf on the team was worth a dump for nothing.

This was a cheapskate deal so that Les could avoid the luxury, yet another reason for Durant to NOT choose the Rockets, he already knows what it's like to play for a cheapskate.
