Rockets trade D-Mo, Thornton to Pistons for first round pick

Yeah, we all knew that Morey would not keep both DMo and Jones, and both of them might be gone. Most people thought Jones would be the one who would get dealt first.

 

Some idiots called me a DMO hater but I'm apparently the most mad at this **** trade.

And the worst is to see the attempts to rationalise it and PR spin it.
The only way this is acceptable is if the first rounder was NEEDED for a Love trade. That's it. Nothing other will explain this crap.

 

Who else can shoot the ball well!?...let's get rid of them too!!:grin:

Thornton is not a great shooter....he is a great chucker who can get hot sometimes

his three point percentage has dropped every month but his three point attempts have been going up

 

What has happened to the people here. How is this even a bad trade if you want to think beyond this year? DMo would require the Rockets to match whatever crazy contracts people try to give him out there as an RFA, on a year where the cap will blow up, meaning people have money to spend. Thornton was never the answer anyways and is a chucker.

The pick and the roster spot(s) sounds like a move coming with Miami, unfortunately. At any rate, get returns for a player with chronic back issues and something to help trade Dwight. Seriously, one move over a player that barely played for two years and a shooter that's on and off the playing rotation and there's 23 pages of over-reactions....

 

Might as well blow it up now...no reason to watch!!
