When has it been proven that Harden is better with the ball in his hands? Is that a serious question?

Yes. If we all had the ability to have a true unbiased opinion based on logic, common sense, statistical reasoning, and critical thinking, we would surely all come to the conclusion that Kevin McHale is responsible for where the Rockets are right now. I guess we can all look to your signature for a shining example of rational thought.

So what you saying is you are going to write a book to teach people :

"How to become a millionaire AFTER you hit the power ball jackpot"

    Sounds exciting.

Let me know when it will be available on Amazon.

Not sure how it's possible to blame McHale at this point

Probably the only Rockets coach name known by a 11 years old.

Targets for a post Dwight era reload: (ignoring KD)

    PG's: Teague, Holiday
    SF's: Barnes, Deng
    C's: Whiteside/Horford

    My ideal scenario

    Teague/Bev
    Harden/Thornton
    Barnes/KJ
    DMO/Harrell
    Whiteside/Capela

    Probably not possible but whatever

I don't want whiteside on this team at all unless he takes a a 10m a year deal and we know that's not happening. He's a career loser with a bad attitude and 12/10 is nothing to write home about imo. His 4blks are nice but he's a bad defender.

    Do not want.

Would rather try and convert dmo a longterm center than get him.

By the way im curious to see what a howard/dmo front line looks for extended minutes.

    Bev
    Harden
    Ariza
    Dmo
    Howard

That just might be a winning lineup

The best part about dmo besides the stuff we know (passing,3s,post game) is when it's in the crunch we can run him as our only big and teams can't hack us.

One goal of hack a Howard is to make the Rockets sit Howard. What does pro-actively sitting Howard achieve, other than to give the opponent what they want?

Sorry didn't read the posts but it's quite simple really. Surround Harden with defensive minded spot up shooters and defensive minded bigs who can rebound. Let him score on most possessions and kick out when he is doubled or tripled to the open spot up shooters. Sounds like a recipe for a championship.

Yep. Ty Lawsom was regarded as a top 7 pg until he came to houston. Hell, he played pretty good with Carmelo of all people. Now, because Harden or the coaching refuses to get him off the ball, this so called experiment is failing big time. I get so mad when after a rebound, Harden goes in the backcourt to get the ball or hangs around the half court to get it. Harden dominates the ball morr than kobe did and thats saying alot.

Why is he a career looser? He is a walking success story just like every other NBA player, he plays a major role on a playoff team.

How is 12 points on 62%, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks in only 28 minutes on a playoff team NOT something special? And again you undermine how his sheer length and shot blocking affects the game, he is literally saving his team 8 points from shot blocking alone, not to mention how many altered shots and intimidations he causes.

That's a winning lineup, really? That's this year's starting lineup + Dmo lmao... You can't be serious.

So your cool with paying Howard 4/120 but wouldn't be okay with paying any more then 4/40 mill per for Whiteside? Even though Whiteside is 3 years younger, a better rebounder, twice as better of a shot blocker, has WAY less milage on him, and doesn't have the bad back/knees that put Howard at a high risk for having major injuries down the road.

    Get real bro.

You don't risk going 2/10 at the line, ruining your offensive momentum, giving the other team free (essentially) time outs to rest. Won't matter - they'll change the rules this summer AFTER all our poor FT shooters leave.

Kobe's usage rate in his prime when he was without Gasol/Shaq was 35.3% Harden's is only 32%

That was probably the most ridiculous part of that post. Ty was barely in the Top 15 last year.

Curry, Westbrook, Irving, CP3, Lillard, George Hill, Teague, Thomas, Wall, Reggie Jackson, Lowry, Holiday, Conley, Bledsoe, Parker, Kemba. Who takes Lawson over any of those players?
