See, I would say that Repo Man is the one that you cant describe as a bad movie. I went and saw it with my father at an art house theater back in the day (the old Greenway Theater next to the Summit - first "R" movie I ever saw in a theater). It was very highbrow stuff. Critics were gushing all over themselves about it. The soundtrack was awesome, too, with a lot of big names (at the time).

I don't think "They Live" was ever the critic's darling that "Repo Man" was.

"They Live" is typical low brow John Carpenter stuff. Roddy Piper is an even worse actor than Mark Wahlberg, which is an accomplishment.

When I was a grad student at the University of Chicago, we used to have a "bad movie night" every Thursday, so I've seen a hell of a lot of them. And nothing has stuck with me quite like Tokyo Gore Police.

Funnily enough, it had a perfect 9/9 "fresh" ratings on Rotten Tomatoes before the first negative review went up in 2011. Which is to say that for a film shot and completed in two weeks that is also as bizarre and ridiculous a movie as you will ever see, it's really quite impressive in its badness (the epitome of "so bad, it's great"). I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who can stomach the over-the-top gore. Also, while I don't normally go in for dubs of live-action films, for a movie that's already this bad, the dub just adds another layer of hilarity over the top.

Any bad disaster movie but especially Day After Tomorrow. I haven't seen San Andreas yet but if it is anything like 2012 I am going to love it.

Grandmas boy is amazing. Critics just have sticks up their asses when it comes to a stoner comedy. I imagine the audience score is over 80%.
