Unless the problem is with the players. Coaches can only do so much.

Not only does he hold Harden, but he bowls through Howard's pick.

[edit] I guess you're probably talking about the second to last shot, not the last shot? right?

    Howards pick was illegal.

He's moving from the top of key out to the 3 point line, plus he hooked him with his right arm.

    blind

plus Oladipo pushes through Howard. That's a foul as well. imo, that's the more obvious fould. Many other players would have flopped to get the call.

How? Because he moved? He moved because the Olidapo was shoving him.

There's no way that is a moving screen.

fwiw: if a foul is called for either holding Harden or pushing through Howard, that is two FTs and the ball back.

A screen can be defined as illegal when:
The player Setting the Screen is moving their feet at the time when contact occurs
The player Setting the Screen has their feet further than shoulder width apart
The player Setting the Screen extends the hips, arms, elbows or knees outside their cylinder
The player Setting the Screen sets the screen in a position that gives the defender adequate time to avoid contact with the screen

didnt catch the game live. just finished watching the rerun.

from about the last 2 mins mark all the way to the end, from lawson to ariza, from howard to jbb, there were so many things went wrong. so frustrating.

and old habits die hard. the coasting-thru-the-first-3-qtrs-and-deal-with-it-in-the 4th thing is still with this team.

tough loss. but the team got no one to blame but itself. smh.

What do you think about Thornton holding Vucevic? Was that a foul?

You guys clearly just see what you want to see. Howard aside from setting an illegal screen was hooking oladipo the same time he was holding harden. I bet the refs saw both and called it a wash.

holding or illegal screen aside, since it was obviously a failed play already, why didnt they use the last timeout? a high school coach/player would've called that t/o. this is basic stuff. inexcusable.
