How about Jones, Ty, Brewer for Pau? I think both teams would go for that.

One guy who would be a nice fit would be Taj Gibson. Gives you good rebounding / defense at the position and is on a reasonable contract. Chicago is reeling at the moment, so they may be interested in shaking things up.

I've always liked Taj, but I'm curious to see if the Bulls would part with Portis and filler for Jones. Then we'd get another talented forward on a small contract.

I guess Taj is the guy that the Bulls want to move to make room for Portis...

Just send the highlights from today's game for Chicago to consider.

Pau makes a small salary so this trade isn't possible

Unfortunately Noah hurt his shoulder yesterday so he may be out for a while.

Snell got a DNP-CD . Mirotic got the start at the 3 (out of position) but he didn't play well again or much.
They are desperate for a starting wing. But now that Noah is out for we dont' know how long, Taj's availabillity is in question.
So unless you want to trade Taj + Snell for Jones +Ariza I don't see a trade here. I wouldn't do that trade btw. Wings are worth more than Bigs.

Maybe we should start looking at Lee. Expiring contract. Smth around Lawson for Lee.
Lawson would help with the playmaking of the Celtics since they basically have only two playmakers one of whom is a SF.

Keep a lookout for Brandon Knight and PJ Tucker. They were just replaced in the starting lineup by their youngsters Booker and Warren. Knight and Tucker would be perfect fits for us.

Lowry would have same problem as Lawson, only one ball and Harden has it.

Brandon Knight is SAWFT but a way better player than Lawson now.

He's a better defender and spot up 3 point shooter than Lawson. Also less off the court issues to deal with.

But the issue really is... why would you pay huge dollars for a 3 and D PG to begin with? You already got one on a mid level contract. If you are paying Lowry 10 mil a year or whatever to be reduced to being Patrick Beverley you are probably better off with Patrick Beverley.

Lowry plays next to another ball dominant guard. We need a PG used to playing next to someone ball dominant likeee:

    Lowry
    Bledsoe
    Hill
    Jack
    Calderon
    Knight
    Irving
Holiday/Evans/Gordon (Evans is a PG. Most wrongly used player in the NBA imo)
    Westbrook(pipedream)
    Durant (not pg obviously) (pipedream)

    really? and why so?
It's not a far fetched fantasy deal by any means.

Except you have to reroute some value from the Wizards to the Pistons.
