The only "real contenders" I see are San Antonio, Golden State and Cleveland... Playoff teams, sure...but New Orleans probably will not even make the playoffs...
unless some drastic changes will take place soon, we will not be able to achieve .500 in these games. that means a month or so from now, we will still be under .500.
Will still be good for 7th or 8th seed in the West, which some posters here seem to be pleased with. If after a month we're still mediocre, I say this season is a punt. Why not give Harden some rest, trade away some assets and start the rebuild early with a high draft pick? Better than being first round fodder to GS or San Antonio.
