Spot on. We have an excellent playmaker yet still can't integrate him though.

I wouldn't mind having Lou Williams on our team. He's a younger version of Jason Terry.

Maybe Thornton is the guy killing chemistry of the team. That's why he isn't playing and that's why Morey wants to replace him with a bench scorer.

Morey said chemistry is not that important...

I didn't word that right. Just just making a joke that WE could get him for cheap, not that we've put him on the trade block. I'm not good at this internet thing.

yeah lets trade thornton who happens to be

    - our best shooter besides harden
    - hustles on defense
    - has plenty of good years left
    - has plenty of experience
    - had several games as the 2nd best scorer
    - best dwight p&r ball handler besides harden
    - fits the system perfectly
    - on a min contract and can be re-signed for cheap

    LETS TRADE THAT GUY!

    -doesn't play.
    -one of the worst defenders
-is extremely streaky and historically folds in crunch time

:) Let's start a riot if he gets traded.

You do realize that Corey Sewer and Old Man Terry get those minutes right?

The thing is with trading Thornton is I think he has much more value to us then would for another team.

Let's be honest, we put him on the trade block and whats the best we are gonna get for him, a mid second rounder? He's a vet min player who might get as cold shooting the ball as quickly as be got hot this season. If a team wants him just offer a future 2nd instead, if a team needs his contract just offer Terry instead. I don't see a scenario where he is NEEDED in a trade. We might as well just keep him while he's hot.

Yup. They shouldn't but why should we riot if Thorton is traded?

It's apparent that Lawson is just too undersized who thrives more in a system that is dominanted by athletic freaks and allows him to run around with the ball. He's too easy to stop when he needs to be stopped it seems.

his pros heavily outweigh his cons. assuming we keep dwight, it makes more sense to keep thornton too and trade brewer. there's the obvious reasons. then there's having 4 finishers at the rim - harden, dwight, cpaella, dmo. since brewre is a good finisher too and his game is transition/off ball and no d, he'd be redundant on this team.

replace brewer with a 3d wing. jones and him are enough for a good backup with another asset

Thornton can handle the ball. He runs the pnr well with Howard. If we trade Brew and Thornton, who can we get that can be as versatile?
