    You're talking about making that trade in 2015? Do you know how old Randolph is? Have you seen him play much lately? There's a reason the Grizzlies are blowing their team up.

    Morey would be laughed out of the NBA.

    Yeah, but the Grizz are better than the Rockets. Better this year, and arguably a tie last year. Same record. Did better against the Warriors in the playoffs.

    No trade for Harden would get "equal" value in return. And clearly ZBo is getting ancient.

    But you're making a bet on leadership and style. Can Harden's leadership and style ever get you there? If not, trading for a leadership and style which seems to me more conducive to winning in Conley is a risk/reward for both teams. Grizz fans can also make a statement like WTF for this trade. At least if they watch the Rockets play. "WTF? Harden can score but is a sieve defensively, Jones is useless to winning and who is KJ?". It's tit for tat.
