If I where in Kobes shoes... I'd probably trip. Yoy know, because Kobe probably wears size 15's or something and im a size 10. I'd then proceed to sell his shoes on eBay to make a quick buck.
I think it would be hilarious if Kobe somehow got traded to GSW to chase that last ring, and then prodeded to completely mess up their chemistry by taking tons of ill-advised, low-percentage shots.
Well, Kobe wears a size 14 shoe, I wear a size 15 shoe. If I were in Kobe's shoes, they'd be stretched the F%*$ Out. All joking aside, I'd stay. No use in diminishing your career any further by asking for a trade to chase another ring. He's won 5, he's 2nd GOAT SG, stay classy. Spoiler
He should have left a couple of seasons ago, but he chose not to. All parties would have been better off if he had. But there's no point in it now.
If I was in Kobe's shoes I'd try Shaq's shoes 15 years ago <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lw3oHRdiJPE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Kobe's biggest weakness is his ego at this point. He has the work ethic to be in Ray Allen shape, and he's always had a nice 3 point shot. He has a high BBall IQ in terms of passing and ball movement, even off-ball movement. There's no reason why Kobe would be a hindrance to a team like San Antonio or Golden State IF he played like a role player. The problem is 100% ego for him. Remove that part, as well as the salary of course, and he could easily be a healthy contributor to a contender playing 15 mpg. At the very least, he could serve as a mentor kind of like KG for the younger guys of a contender.
He should take a leadership role on that Philly team. Give back and become a hometown hero wouldn't sound too bad.
