[2015-2016] Jeremy Lin as a Charlotte Hornet

Lin is playing pretty well this game against Portland. 2/4 from the field, 1/1 from three, 2 assists, no t/o and a steal. Also...good defense generally, even on Lillard. But...Kemba's playing so well that Lin has only played 8 minutes. Charlotte is up by like 25 on this decent Western conference team.

 

I'm in my mid 30s, I get paid to be smart, not pretty. But thank you for your input, I'll try better next time.

 

Having a second team to root for is always beneficial. When watching your first favorite team is like a trip to the dentist, it's always nice to have your second favorite team do well. Right now Charlotte is playing the underdog role nicely. It's a lot of fun to watch this team. The Rockets need to bring this kind of motivation and energy.

 

SO you switch your 2nd favorite team every year? To whichever team Lin goes. Says a lot about you....

 

I don't think so at all. I'm a fair-weather fan. Why would I want to waste my time watching a losing team?

If the rockets keep this up, I'm jumping ship to the Warriors.

It's fairly normal for a fan to have other favorite players who are not a part of their favorite team. Also...Lin is an ex-Rocket, and I enjoy watching a great many ex-Rockets play (yes, even Kmart). What is entirely abnormal is for a fan to watch games in their entirety of another team, just so that they can enjoy when their least favorite player in the NBA plays poorly. That would classify along the lines of demented.

Agreed. Lin's empty performances and his fans putting blame on everyone but him is predictable. Happened with the Rockets, happened with the Lakers and now happening with Charlotte. Lin fans - Dumb and delusional.

 

Lin had a good first half and a terrible second half. Got yanked after 17 total min or so, but then put back in at the end... for defense. Very strange world we are living in.
