Well yeah thats true but certain fans in here had earlier scoffed at the criticizism of this team until now. Its pretty entertaining to watch.

we only play 9 games at home, 6 on the road.
Is going to be very difficult for this team to win the WC, forget the division, right???

Implying? No... not implying... flat-out saying he is.

There may be faster guys in terms of just a foot-race.... but reading the ball off the bat, getting the perfect jump/reaction, taking the perfect angle... and THEN running the ball down... are all things he does incredibly.

Guys like Jim Edmonds made "great" plays... often because they got a late jump, took an awful route, and ended up having to dive just to get close (whereas a great OF would have made it look routine).

Marisnick is also right up there as well.

Not snarky, what would you do?

I know what I would start by doing... the manager and Conger and Gattis and Valbuena and Carter all can go find another uniform to wear.

I have no issue with criticism... its the endless "Fire HINCH!", "Trade Altuve!", "he never gets anybody out!" idiotic statements that add nothing, say nothing, and end up proving the GARM theory.

Also, you have a new best friend in Cangrejero... congratulations. That's your prize for the evening.

    "YOU WHERE RIGHT!!!" lolololol.

Astros just can't hit well. They've hit a wall....and only home sweet home will break it down.

Games (and series) like this make small things extra infuriating. The Rangers fans booing ball/strike calls, e.g. The low-key smarm of the Rangers TV announcers.

    Calls for whiskey.

No idea if it'll carry over but they were "just" 3-3 on the home stand prior to this road trip. (Minnesota & Seattle) Obviously been great all year.

They come home to the teams they just went 2-8 against on the road.

considering we will still likely be a game and a half UP on a playoff spot with a loss tonight

that is a pretty r****ded statement, even for you

What's so hard about playing baseball on the road for the Astros this season?

I guess I don't get it. I guess no one else does, either.

Yes it will, they are probably going to win 6 and lose 3, but then 6 on the road, where we are going to lose 4 and win 2.

That means, 8 and 7 record (well, we have been average for so long, right?

With 8 and 7 that is 85 and 77, i don't think we get to the playoffs with that record.

They've swept and won series against all these upcoming teams before. They can do it again.

Springer is one of the 4-5 fastest outfielders in baseball and is one of the best on routes to the ball. The technology is so good now they can graph out speed, route etc. There was a Sports Science on it and Springer was in the top 3.... Actually the fastest was another Astro that is a centerfielder. It isn't all about foot speed, it is jump, quickness, length and route....
