Are these numbers all games and counting the time one is on the bench? Or are you only counting the games where either Harden or Paul was injured?
Yes, when he was a freshman in college I was convinced he would be one of the 1st players to not have a defined position. He was long and strong (6’9” 230 lbs), explosive, young and did everything well. He had a lot of upside, but struggled to put the ball on the floor in the NBA and I think the game was a little too fast for him.
You may have a point here. I don't know. In the last 5 games our bench's offensive rating sans Paul and Harden is 119.5!!!!!! In the previous 35 games our bench offensive rating sans Harden and Paul was a measly 98.7. Can you say Green effect? He's been straight up silly sick for the offense. I'm starting to think if we get LMM and Harden back healthy, and could somehow trade CC and Anderson for DeAndre, and pick up one more vet playnaking pg, and a vet pf like Ilyasova (or sign Uthoff) that we could really make a serious run at the Warriors. Need that defensive upgrade on the interior. And that emergency third pg just in case (maybe briante is good enough, I have doubts even though I like him.)

I've studied possession definitions in depth. I know the formulas. And I've also tracked possessions and my own home made "scoring opportunity" possession. Yes, I'm "doubling down" here. Sorry.
Tweet your thoughts to morey and send back pics of what he says in response. Would be interesting to see an actually statistician argue with you and you still tell them they are wrong. Kinda like flat earthers arguing with scientists about the globe.
Morey doesn't have time for that. And he already knows down to the hundredth of a point what the net value is. I'd love to have access to all their tracking data though.
What are the numbers for the games where one is injured? I think that's more interesting because you dont have the luxury of staggering minutes
What are you wanting here? I gave you the numbers when both players aren't playing in the game (291 total minutes including 222 before Harden got inured, when both players are playing on court, and when there's one of them on court?
I thought the whole point of this thread is to see how 1 is doing on-court when the other 1 is not playing?
I have to say I agree with you, holic: Bringing in a 24-year-old guy who couldn't even make the Mavs' roster, but is winning over the crowds with his play for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, might just be that one thing Morey's been looking for to get us past the Warriors. Your ability to stay on-point during hurricane-force winds of opposition is both admirable and humorous.
So you do understand that Uthoff could effectively replace Anderson, give us the same spacing offensively, and easily more defense. Kewl. At least one member here understands how bad Anderson hurts us and how utterly useless he is when he is in the Toyota Center and half the road games. All good mate.
