Great point and he sticks with that lineup as if they are going to bring us back into the game. That lineup has to be double negative when on the court!
I feel this team is opposite of last year team. Great in regular season but fail in post season. This year will be different. Westbrook shows up during the playoffs hes not even trying out there.
We could have better role players, no question about it, but the main problem with this team is lack of effort. 9 out 10 games, the Rockets get up for top teams, often playing inspired defense. At the same, it goes through the motions against scrubby teams. Note to the Rockets: you ain't good enough to beat teams by just showing up. CP3 was not only our floor general, but he actually was encouraging others to play to their potential, hence that great Rockets team that won 65 games two years ago. He is no longer here likely because Harden doesn't like to be barked, and because CP3 under performed in last season's playoffs. Ou next game is against the Lakers. I won't be shocked at all if we win that game. I would give this year and next year to get things right. Otherwise, break it all up, and get younger by trading everyone that still have value, including Harden and Russ. Morey should be looking for draft picks and/or promising young players.
What was wrong with this team last year? Every year should be similar, just one year is bit of better, and another year is bit of bad since you have the same coach, same core players.
Who wants to have Russ? You could trade Harden and Russ together to one team, then someone may want to them.
Basically the same thing that happened to the SSOL Suns. A shitty owner who nickle and dimed the team into mediocrity.
Texans = Rockets = Texans Just not very good Brian. Gotta do a better job Brian. Spoiler Trash owners Trash coaches Trash defense No picks Good enough to win the division, make the playoffs and not much else.
We miss a bunch of wide open shots and our energy on defense suffers as a result. Rivers and House are very streaky. I would rather see Clemons get some minutes.
Terrible dead man walking coach. the players mostly don’t care. the star player may care a little about winning but he cares more about his numbers. Otherwise, he would try to make the players around him better. If you are a the star but also making the players around you better, you can have a **** night against **** teams like portland, and still win. Your team will be less susceptible just laying down when you have an off night. This is lost on people who are still impressed when he goes for 50 and we lose. If you are a fan of team oriented basketball, this squad is very frustrating to watch. So much senseless stuff going on. Its a mess.
How we lost 3 in a row against teams avg PCT .500,and turn around to defeat a team .805 standing first place of west conference. Dunt get me wrong, i would luv to hold my breath to see us reorganize to beat LAL, like a giant killer But your first two paragraph Cant back up the third, it abruptly changed tone
an offense predicated on the 3-point shot...too much variance. You're assuming that everyone will hit their averages, which usually doesn't happen. The offense comes and goes. Our defense is not consistent enough to keep us in games where we're shooting below average. Voila, you have the 2019-2020 Houston Rockets.
Combination of bad coaching, bad ownership decisions and unmotivated play. Plus, wide open shots are being missed. Perfect storm for a losing streak / "sky is falling" feeling.
Tucker gets zero points. problem is on small forward and but mainly on power forward position. Rivers and house play worser than last year.
