I’ve been out on him since the latest playoff blunder. I can’t imagine him getting us over the playoff hump. And now we’re sucking in the reg season
Do we start passing the hat around to pay for the sacking? Ba$netball rea$on$ for not firing him at the moment....
Mike does not give a **** and is officially sabotaging the Rockets He is mad about his contract he has shown to be vindictive with the Melo thing so yea. . . he sabotaging the Rockets on Purpose Rocket River
MDA cannot continue to be the coach of this team. Morey can't wait for one more game. This team is falling apart.
The real question is.... is Morey the one who wants this system?!? If so then what’s the purpose of firing him if he expects another coach to come in and replicate the same crap?
the problem is not the system. It’s the discipline and adjustments. They shrink when teams take the lead and they are loose with the ball. That is on the coach. Ring in Scotty Brooks or someone Harden and Russ respect
I am ready for a change and I don't care what kind. Make a trade Fire Coach This team is too small and lacks discipline. D'Antonio doesn't play the bigs we have. Hart should be getting minutes. A major move is needed and fast. I don't think we can wait for the trade deadline or the perfect buyout to fall our way.
It's not knee-jerk anymore, although it hasn't been for a while now. Did you see how awful Tyson Chandler was and still didn't have the balls to give Hartenstein those minutes and leave Tyson on the freaking bench for being mentally weaker than Dwight Howard?! I was already done with MDA, but what little faith I had left is out the window completely. We're due for a 1st round / 2nd round exit and cannot wait for a new coach, although Tilman might hire a big name with his big mouth rather than get a quality assistant like Cassell.
They had couple days of practice since way back and then they start loosing everything. That says a lot
You guys are finally coming along now that things aren’t ideal. D’Antoni didn’t become a bad coach yesterday. He has sucked ever since he got here. And gotten worse every year. Coaches zero defense, no structured offense, no genius game feel/b-ball IQ to make keen adjustments, stunts the growth of young talent absolutely horrid rotation and minutes distribution. I was done with him when he played Joe Johnson any minutes over Luc Mbah a Moute at all. I really should’ve been done when he didn’t play Harrell in the 17 WCSF. He SHOULD’VE been fired last year for wasting Nene, who was playing perfect basketball against GS, for Capela. And played Gerald Green all 11 games over Danuel House while he sucked in every single one.
He doesnt have to be a missing piece for a championship. You dont expect vet mins to be missing pieces to a championship. Everybody here complaining about PF depth if we kept Melo he couldve been a decent backup PF. Check his stats in Portland. Is he the worst defender ever there? Lol! The only diff between Melo in Houston and in Portland is the coach isnt prejudiced against him and gave him a chance to actually contribute.
Dantoni after these losses: "the guys will figure it out themselves" so what the **** do we need a coach for then?
It physically pains me to say this, but..... Atleast McHale would be playing more than 7 players. There, I said it. I'd much rather be in this situation with Yes Man McHale than the current version of Pringles.
Rockets and Tilman deserve the season they’re having. Cheap out on players. Cheap out on coaching staff. Waste assets. Let teams pass you by. Sad to see this taking place but here we are.
