Don't know why, but when you said "lover" you reminded me of these two: (Patio Lovers, Hot Tub Lovers, Mountaintop Lovers, Birthday Lovers, Hot Tub Lovers, Cabin Lovers, etc. ) AND I have absolutely NOTHING to contribute to this thread... other than we are going dancing with more couples.
My wife and I have an anniversary just 9 days later. We say we don't like to do much on V-Day, but I feel crappy just thinking about not doing something. It won't be huge. We might just go to dinner at a nice French Bistro in our neighborhood. For our 5th anniversary this year we are going to San Diego for the weekend. That will be our bigger celebration.
I'm going to embarrass the **** out of my girlfriend. Just ordered flowers to be delivered to her classroom in front of all her students.
yea i havnt decided what im going to do but being as though our anniversary is 2 days later and on the weekend, maybe ill do something then.
probably hit skins. Play some hide the salami. or in my case, chinese sausage. Maybe some 4play. A good rub down with some peach scented oils. umm, probably watch some p*rn. not exactly in that order. Maybe eat afterwards since i get hungry. This is all contingent on my gf though.
Can't they just rename this to 'Pain in the Ass' day already? My girlfriend takes a lot of stuff like this as 'serious'. Not a big deal, but we better do something. She even got mad at me because I didn't want to do anything on MY birthday. I had to apologize to HER for not wanting to do anything on MY birthday. *Ahem* So I guess I'm just going to get reservations at a nice restaurant, flowers, and the candles/bookstore gift certificate finalsbound/astrorockette recommended.
I hear you and I agree. But this is our first V-day together, so I kind of have to do something. After all, I'm still trying to score points with her friends and family. One thing we're NOT going to do is go out to eat. No way am I falling into that trap. I'm just going to cook her dinner or something. I imagine the more V-days you spend together, the less crap you have to do.
Just another day for "the man" to take money out of my pocket...That and I don't have a serious g/f this time around...
We're celebrating Valentine's this weekend. He said he was going to take me out to eat, but I just went shopping and got the idea to make a nice Mexican dinner Saturday night. No need to spend a lot of money, but I think we're gonna exchange some chocolate.
