Well, thought that Beasley was good enough friends with Durant but apparently not. We gave it a shot though.

Worst trade ever. There goes our depth. Beasley contract was amazing and one of the only players last year that could create his own shot. He had slot of upside coming into this season.

    Classic unnesscary trade

Agreed. Good trade for both teams. Bucks losing Middleton for most of the season was going to hurt. Ennis should do well in MDA's system because of his instincts.

What I'm wondering is why Morey did this trade when @basketballholic keeps assuring us we're trading for Rubio?

Hopefully Morey sees what he saw in Lowry, a guy who doesn't really shoot three's but could if he did.

The good thing about this trade is that we no longer have Beasley.

This was mostly a roster balance move. Too many forwards, not enough guards.

Looks like Brewer may not be going anywhere now. Personally I think Dekker and McDaniels can handle backup SF but I doubt the Rockets want to depend on young players to step up like that.

Hopefully this means DMO is back soon.

    This BLOWS.

Bucks got the best of that deal by far.

Not a fan. I was really hoping MDA would do something radical and actually play Beard at the True 1 and Gordon at the 2, with Beverley as the back up.

MDA got that whole small ball thing started. Beasley was great as a small ball 4. We still don't have a word on D-Mo. Jazz turned that 14th pick we were supposed to have into George Hill didnt they? Teague went fairly easy. We get a Beverley/Ennis PG combo and lose Beasley. NOICE.

Tyler Ennis has high upside. People who don't like the trade have obviously never seen the kid play. Give him a chance, dude can ball.

This reminds me a little bit of the Kyle Lowry trade in some way. I was heated when we traded Alston for Lowry, and Lowry turned out to be very good.

Ennis is an underrated PG that can improve under the right circumstances.

I guess the Kris Middleton injury provided the opportunity. TheVertical was talking yesterday about Bucks open to trades.

    Morey sure works fast.

"Houston is still working to re-sign restricted free agent forward Donatas Motiejunas, who figures to be a prominent part of the team’s frontcourt rotation. Through a longer-term agreement or a one-year qualifying offer that Motiejunas could accept to make him an unrestricted free agent next summer, the Rockets expect to have Motiejunas back for the start of the season."
