What does he do that is so great? His three point shooting, his play making ability, his ability to read the floor? Those are nice things to have but BB IMO is not a game changer. Bobby Jackson is a game changer IMO.

I'm fine with signing Bobby Jones instead......not so sure I really wanted to have an ex-Sper on the team anyways......Barry's probably damaged goods who's already been b****-ized by those whiny floppers by now

Three point shooting, play making, able to read the floor, vetran leadership, playoff/championship experience, clutch shooting... That sounds pretty good to me from a role player.

He is a proven version of Luther Head with size. Recall Head's post season last year? I'll take Barry over Head.

I am not so sure. I think what it means is that he isn't convinced any Phoenix or Houston or better than SA and in the end he wants to play for a championship. It gives him time to see if Houston and Phoenix are for real or if SA is the real contender. After all he what's the hurry, he has 25 days before SA can sign him... He is still rehabbing and unless SA does a nosedive I suspect he will return to them.

Yao's season is over. Now we can kiss goodbye to Barry coming here too.

Is this the reason why Barry postpones his decision?!

He would be an idiot to sign with us now...unless he thinks he can make up for Yao's loss and still have a chance to win the championship. If he wants a championship as his first priority, then he has better options than us now.

For what it's worth Nuno from 1560 said the Rockets are still going full force at Barry. But now there's no timetable for his decision.

...unless he thinks ANYBODY can make up for the loss of Yao.

Too bad this news didn't happen a few days later. If we were in the picture a few hours ago, I'm guessing we're out of it now. I hope I'm wrong.

    Bleh. So predictable.

Would have been cooler if Barry told the Rockets that he was always set at going back to Spurs but after he found out about Yao, he has decided to join the Rockets because they need him now more than ever.
