Tilman Fertitta, sole owner of Fertitta Entertainment, the restaurant giant Landry's, the Golden Nugget Casinos and Hotels and the NBA's Houston Rockets, helps today's business leaders break through to new levels of success with his ground- breaking, no holds barred book, "Shut Up and Listen!" Releasing September 17, 2019 through HarperCollins Leadership ..... Fertitta believes that one of the biggest challenges that struggling entrepreneurs and those that are climbing the corporate ladder face is getting out of their own way. Whether it's over or undervaluing the product or service, letting ego get in the way of what's best for business, not knowing blind spots, or not being willing to go that extra mile with customers, Fertitta believes the 5% that they aren't paying attention to can become the very thing that prevents them from getting to the top. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-rel...is-new-book-shut-up-and-listen-300827598.html ....... *HEY MOREY.....SHUT UP AND LISTEN!*
@Deuce has joined the anti-Tilman wagon. Warmly welcome aboard! Daryl, shut up and listen and get us under the luxury tax! James & Russ, shut up and dribble! Clint, shut up and rebound! PJ, Eric, Austin, Danuel, Gerald, shut up and shoot! Non-guaranteed guys, just shut up and watch!
if the book sells well, will he consider going over the luxury tax? in the meatime, can clutchfans write book titled "Shut up and go over the Luxury tax" sequel book could be "Shut up and do something Murry"
Since @Deuce liked it on twitter Edit: You already posted it lol I have a lot of these ready to go this year!
I gave TF the benefit of the doubt last year. But the lack of spending on the coaches and being hamstrung on roster building has flipped me. To be fair, I am willing to flip back if I see positive steps. So, the onus is on Tilman.
The message isn't new, so he will need to deliver a tangible mechanism that ensures the lessons are actively engaged. Otherwise, it's the same old stuff. Need something tangible.
Yeah, this completely. I'm still open to new information, but right now I'm pretty nervous for the exact reasons you listed (the coaching staff issue is really underrated)
