Okay - I know this is a little different, but I wanted to get some feedback on what brand of mattress I should buy. My wife has visited several stores and now wants me to go and try them out myself (sounds like BIG fun). She likes a few brands - Sealy - Spring Air - Tempurpedic and some name I have never heard. Any suggestions?
Invest the money in a Temperpedic mattress. I have had mine for the past 2 years and I love it. The best money I have spent. Considering how much time you are going to be spending on your mattress it makes sense to invest and get a quality product. No flipping required and I always wake up with a great nights sleep.
check out www.sleepbetterstore.com or www.angelbeds.com if there is something you like i can probably get you a discount...email me or post message here, i dont think the email is set up right through the board
If you look hard enough you can find the manufacturers that make the super condensed foam that NASA uses, but is also used for mattresses. They are the most comfortable things I ever slept on and if you go to the right places, they are cheaper than even crappy mattresses. I plan to get one later this summer. I have a friend who got one direct from the manufacturer who just cut a piece based on whatever measurements you want. He got a queen sized one for $300 shipped.
