Hoyt makes 39. Teo, Rodgers, Martes could be 40 if they are a Sept call up or could be waiting on a waiver claim
Maybe they are keeping a spot open to see if anyone gets cute and wants to sneak someone through waivers. It would make perfect sense to keep the spot open.
Hope something clicks for Reed this time around. He's been mashing since he went back down. The Hoyt call up is nice too. No reason to trade for relievers when you can just call up guys with 15k/9ip, 1.60 ERA, and 5:1 K/BB ratio.
Fister going on paternity leave will be the corresponding move here. I imagine a bat will be sent down when Fister is back (one of Tucker/White).
