Still early to have them dead, but anyway, they're going to commit A LOT of money this summer on this team...Lowry, Ibaka, 2Pat should cost them around 65/70M easily, and while they have a good roster overall, they lack a real star, and i just don't see them have the discipline and iq to overcome this...like, let's say the Pistons in 2004.
At this point, it's in their heads. They lost badly, maybe the Bucks are the better team but the Raptors just weren't competitive enough. That said, rooting for the Bucks as I find that team fascinating plus I'll root for the underdog.
Giannis blocking the sh*t out of Derozan and then banging his chest was so alpha. You can see the hurt in Derozan's eyes..thought he was going to cry lol.
They made it to the ECF last year against the Cavs and even won a couple games that series didn't they? Too lazy to look up whatever streak they hit, but can't be that.
Well, it didn't take too long to find out the Raptors are pretenders. Giannis Antetokounmpo activating freak-mode should make it a fun series to watch. Still, the east is weak and nobody outside Cleveland is gonna hang with the big boys out west.
I still think Toronto will win. They went to 7 in the first and second round last year. There a strange team but also a good team they've been easily the best team in the east since allstar. Raptors in 6 imo.
Jason Kidd knows how to coach against Toronto. If I recall, he coached the Brooklyn team that upset the raptors a few years back. Lowery is gong to cost him self millions if his play does not improve.
Really impressed with Milwakee. Not surr exactly what to expect from them because of the hype the Toronto received. It seems that suoerstar Giannis, Brogdan, Thon, Middleton and others were ready.
NBA is not like that anymore. Someone will give it all to him. He will get the max even if he scores 5 points a game.
So if you redid the 2013 draft, Giannis goes first and Gobert goes second I think. And Anthony Bennet goes 60th. Love watching Greek Freek play. Too bad nobody in Milwaukee cares about the bucks.
Kidd's basketball IQ is off the charts, both on defense and offense. If he can translate it to his coaching, he will be an excellent coach.
