you counted last nights game. @sammy stated in his post those were the numbers going into the phx game
I apologize if I missed it reading through this 69 page thread, but can anyone tell me why Danuel House is not playing for the Vipers right now? He was obviously sent down there, but he's not playing.
Since taxpayer, no BAE but we would have to dip into TP MLE above his Non-Bird amount as a RFA to match.
In the G League and not playing at all. Rust can pile up and make you worthless. Memory of your potential value can fade. Dude needs to hoop, not manage his contract offers. It's not like the guy could never get another NBA contract if he signed this one, but he may never get an offer if he doesn't sign the one he's got. This (possibly justifiable) greed may hurt him. Nothing adds to your value like proving it night in and night out. Dude's been out since January 14th. I agree that a 2 year deal makes the most sense. Whatever is happening doesn't make sense. He might have lost all the momentum he had.
Yes , for any offer over the minimum they'll have to dip into MLE money (they wont have a BAE) to match. Haha …. I'm retired buddy , have been since 2004 , every day is a vacation.
If he really can't play, then a lot of posters have been crying in vain: "What if we had House last night? DAMMIT!"
Give a chance to Anthony Bennett instead. He is shooting 44.9% on his three, with FG 54.3% in the G league.
Rewatch warriors rockets highlights from early January. The Daniel house drive at the very end of 1st quarter showed playing ability on the road. House got Dallas right where he wants them ! Porzingis rehab, "Stay Woke".
He’s still only 25 years old. Good size, and his shooting has improved a lot. There is a reason he was taken number 1 overall. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get one last chance somewhere.
There is no way the rockets are being this clever with an injury . House can definitely play . We just aren't playing him . I know everyone says "oh we can just resign him after the dust settles anyways ." ..... but that isn't accounting for the games he could have played and the rust that he will have accumulated. Sure , house could have capitulated and taken what the rockets were offering .... but the rockets could have given a bit more on their side . ( this is presumed , I don't have inside knowledge of negotiations ) ( it's just that there seems to be an obvious middle ground that has not been reached ) But anyways ... there is no way house has had a month long injury that magically coincides with this contract dispute .
I don’t believe we’re done with House. I don’t get it. If he’s tradable, then I’m sure we could have substituted him instead of the first round pick, no? He’ll probably be signed for as much as a first rounder will make.
How many wings are we going to have lol? A lot probably depends on buyouts. They've made it clear they want Wes Matthews. If they add him, then seriously, where the heck are all these guys going to play?
