Measurements are INSANE. Height, Wingspan, Reach, and HANDS. All ELITE. Dude has HUGE hands.

The only downside is 209 lbs, which is horrible no matter how you spin it. However, his BMI is 19.87 (normal: 18.5-25), so he's not anorexic for a normal person. He also has a narrow frame, so it may be hard for him to bulk up. Either way, he needs 2-3 seasons for bulking up and gaining at least 30 lbs before he can even step on the court.

I can't wait to see how he performs at the hoop summit. If he can dominate at this weight, we have some hope. He's projected as the 15th pick in 2016, but there was rumor that he'd go in the draft this year if he likes what he hears.

Guys, I've fallen for him. Any chance he comes out this year so we can draft and stash him?

He'd be a great project to look forward to post-Dwight

No one knows. If he completely dominates Nike Hoop Summit and raise his stock to a lottery pick, he's more likely to come over this year. If he sucks there, then there's really 0 chance.

The kid can make jumpers. But he seems a little mechanical in his shooting form.

The following is the big man drill:
    https://youtu.be/Z6uZ150sD2w

I am much more impressed with what he shown in this video.

Most of this video showed that he can do layups with both hands. He also shoots well from mid range.

But from 4:00 mark, they are simulating big men setting picks then roll for a layup. Wow, look at his amazing quickness. The way he is able to move his feet, set pivot, and change directions, are just amazing.

I don't know about his speed or jumping ability, but his lower body quickness is just amazing.

From the first video, I would say his upper body quickness is like a giraffe, long but a little stiff and mechanical. From the second video, his lower body quickness is like a Gazelle.

Just insert embedded link. I can give a try.

AMAZING. He almost never missed a single shot out of 50 times from near 3 point range. Darn I wish Howard could get half of his shooting touch, then rockets will go for champion.

He was because Yi had already won 3 CBA championships before he got drafted and competed on the senior national teams.

Zhou Qi's has only played 1 season so far in China, and most scouts know about him because of his performances on the junior national teams in FIBA.

Yes, Yi was advertised as being a 19 years old at the time of the draft. It was eventually admitted that there was age fraud for years by the Chinese teams. He was originally listed born in 1987, but documents were uncovered showed that he was born in 1984.

Maybe he's actually just a 7 foot Steve Novak. I don't think his frame will ever allow him to play in the NBA paint

7"2' SF, just like the 6"11' Greek Freak PG. He can make outside jumpers at elite level over time.

    You can't teach height.

He will be drafted in the first round.
