He belongs in G League for this season. He needs to get used to the physicality and speed of the game.
Kid looks lost out there always. Likely going to be a bust. Played in CBA for a couple years and still is so raw. Usually players that played in another league that come into the NBA are much more developed in terms of their game (not physique). ZhouQi is basically useless offensively and average defensively. The only plus side is that he's so long so he can get blocks. Basically another one of Morey's pet project, he already has 3 or 4 on the team and he really needs to cut some of them loose so we can pick up some vets who can actually contribute.
Simple marketing ploy to draw Chinese audience/fans and to fetch balls during warm up. He even looks passive fetching balls. Dude needs to bulk up and spend his off days hanging out in Alief, maybe that will make him more comfortable around the team and in the league...right now he’s a straight up fob.

They aren't the same player yet you want to compare Clint's rookie shooting percentage where all his shots were in the paint to Qi where hes shooting mostly spot up threes
Qi wants to be a spot up 3 point shooter. Clint Capela is a DeAndre Jordan/Dwight . Keep comparing Clint to Qi if you want, they aren't the same type of player because they are tall.
Why nobody in league picked him up, cant fit in with the nba game, too skrawny, so what he can shoot the ball, is he gonna get open? Are there plays drawn up for him to shoot? I dont think he could knock down shots like ryno. I would say maybe in 3-4 years he could get a chance on a losing team , and maybe avg 5ppg and 1.5 bbg. He s a trade throw in at this point.
Capela was a athletic freak straight off the bat. You could see his potential which was tailor made for today’s league.In today’s pick and roll game Capela was always going to be a success. Sorry but this Zhu guy is way to slow and uncoordinated
