Simple question. kill all commercials on music and the programs are unlocked any shows worth anything ? Rocket River
I did the 1 month free trial to download Cobra Kai for plane rides. That's the only thing I've used it for since I subscribe to other music stuff already. I'm canceling the subscription.
I also have Google Play Music and to me it is worth it since you get an ad-less YouTube (and ability to listen to YouTube with screen off). YouTube Red sucks, but having it free so that I could watch Cobra Kai was a plus. However that is all about to change by the end of this year https://m.androidcentral.com/nobody-buy-youtube-music-premium
^^^ That is clear as mud. Google Play Music subscribers will get all YouTube Premium benefits in addition to their current GPM subscription (and early adopter price, if you have it). Maybe I will get grandfathered in???
I have GPM so get YouTube Red. I like it. Only thing it affects for YouTube is that I can watch stuff without ads and play audio with my phone off.
Yeah that was a horrible explanation. I'd like it if it were grandfathered in, but if not I'll stick with the cheaper offer with ad-free YouTube and audio with screen turned off
Yep, I don't watch network tv either. Rid of cable years ago. I still watch Johnny Carson full episodes. I'm set.
Nope If you're using android and want to play/download youtube audio offscreen or in background, I recommend NewPipe. It's not in the store for obvious reasons, but you don't need to do anything else to your phone to install it. The UI is crappy but it does a simple thing that big ******* companies want you to pay for.
I mean I wouldn't pay for just that feature by itself, but it comes bundled with my GPM subscription at no cost.
I get youtube red with my google play music account - i have the family plan which is 15/mo but its split between some family so its like 3-4/mo per person. I dont really use google play too much but youtube red has been great for me without the ads, less buffer times and the different shows on there aren't too bad to watch now and then.
Been thinking about the family plan (but not sure now with what's happening with merging to YouTube Music), but does everyone on your family plan get ad-less YouTube and YouTube Red?
