Damn you already made this thread hard to read.

My favorite book of all time is Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. But the book I'd bring would be Self-Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

The movie I'd bring would be The Breakfast Club. And the Album I'd bring would be kris kristofferson, Self-titled.

    - Beatles Anthology ( For quality and Quantity )
    - Great Expectations ( Charles Dickens - To keep me in reality)
    - Shawshank Redemption ( For Hope and Morgan Freeman voice Over )

But I am concerned about the amount of times Rocket Fans are ending up stranded on Islands.

Wait...what good is the movie and album without a means to play them? I'm stranded on a desert island for crying out loud. Did I get stranded near a power outlet with a DVD player/TV (if cassette tape, then Tom Hanks showed us we can use it to build a raft so it won't matter what the movie is) and record player (you said album so I'm thinking I've got a vinyl frisbee here that isn't much use otherwise)? A volleyball would be nice. After reading the book a few times, then the pages would likely be used to start fires or as toilet paper.

A book on how to build a boat while stranded on a desert island. An audio book on how to navigate the ocean. And the movie Cast Away.

How am I suppose to watch the movie and listen to the album on a desert island?

How many people here can even confidently say they will be able to survive on an island on their own?
