Well, certainly the aforementioned Ctrl + C / Ctrl + X / Ctrl + V / Ctrl + Z. That's such basic functionality that I barely even think about them as being shortcuts anymore. Other than that, F4 in Word to repeat the last action can be a real time-saver. I used to have a job as a document formatter, and without F4 my job would have taken about twice as long.
ALT + Tab Especially when my mum walks into my room while i'm doing extra-curricular activities...Or when I get reacquainted with myself...or when I masturbate.
The greatest shortcut of all time. While your in a browswer ctrl-enter puts the www and the .com at the end of what your typing. So if you type in espn and then hit ctrl-enter it goes to www.espn.com ... Let the reputation flow in now. Your welcome.
Clicking the mouse wheel on a link opens it up in a new tab. A little unnecessary, but useful nonetheless
