not an erotic movie, but the ass shot in crocodile 2, imo is probably one of the most erotic scenes in film history.
I'll see you one Wild Orchid and raise you one Long, Hot Summer with Don Johnson and Virginia Madsen and Jennifer Connelly and also, a BodyHeat with William Hurt (from Children of a Lesser God fame). Both guaranteed to make you sweat but in a good way.
Blowup, 1966. Directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. Starring David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave and Sarah Miles. The scene where Hemmings has a threesome with 2 young chicks who want to be models, and will do anything to get well known fashion photographer Hemmings to shoot them, is classic. First British feature film to have full frontal female nudity and explicit sexuality. Just about impossible to find uncut. If anyone does, let me know. I saw it during it's run in Houston at one of the old movie palaces. A complete trip and absolutely brilliant. The Yardbirds, with Jeff Beck, have a role in part of the flick. A truly excellent murder mystery... or is it? The Coca-Cola Kid, 1985. Directed by Dusan Makavejev. Starring Eric Roberts and the young, stunningly beautiful Greta Scacchi. Greta, taking a perfectly innocent shower with her young daughter, manages to make it sensual anyway with her full frontal nudity. A great lovemaking scene in the sack between Greta and Roberts, with Greta stripping off a Santa costume, while feathers fly through the air like drifting snowflakes blowing in the breeze. Hilarious flick, and one of Roberts and Scacchi's best. With a real twist at the end. The Dreamers, 2003. Directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. Starring Eva Green, Michael Pitt, Louis Garrel. Eva Green's extensive full frontal nudity is worth the price of admission. Great lovemaking scenes. While the 3 main characters romp, Paris and France teeter on the edge of revolution in 1968. (Paris and France really did teeter on the edge of revolution in 1968!) Uneven, but I liked it. Green is simply gorgeous.
Unfaithful - Richard Gere and Diane Lane movie. The irony of it being the way Diane Lane was looking in it gave me reason to keep a wife around Color of Night - Bruce Willis movie. That girl in it who was in some other erotic movie at the time...who's looks make me feel like some dirty old man
I will second everything you said here. Wide Sargasso Sea - Karina Lombard is amazing. Wild Orchid > than 9 1/2 weeks in my opinion. 9 1/2 weeks is just way over-hyped, and seems a little forced. But I don't know if either movie would be on the list for me. Last Tango in Paris - It may be cliche, but it does deliver.
