When my roomate saw this last night during the broadcast he was surprised saying "wow he is actually showing some emotion" probably the first time i have seen van gundy so relaxed and laid back. he is a pretty normal guy i feel except when he is coaching then he is intense, but I love that about him. he was pretty cool when he was on tnt broadcasting makes cracks at kerr's expense. Its great that we have a coach who cares about the fans and realizes how important it is for the fans to be a part of this game. i've heard of teams giving away a single season ticket or a section for a game but 50 season tickets??? i wish i was in houston to be a rocket rowdy myself.

lol that clip is disturbing to say the least... it's a shame that the Rocket's management doesn't do anything about making the crowd at TC a home court advantage. it's not the coach or player's jobs to put people in seats, it's the organisation's job. i guess when we win a championship this year, we'll have sellout crowds guaranteed for years to come
Our fans have always been that way...where they lose interest when the products not that great...let this team get off to a 10-3 start or something like that and it will be rocking. The Rocks have to do something that they've seldom done and that is protect the home court this year. To lose 10-15 games at home is totally unacceptable for a team this talented. We seem to play better on the road and that has to continue...but they need to be like SA where it's hard as hell to get a "W" in their arena. I'm hoping for 33-8 at home and management would have done their job in 1)building this team; 2) bringing the fans back in to a party! On the road 27-14 and that's a 60-win season!
