Rockets jumped the Texans as the biggest dumpster fire in Houston they been taking turns this offseason geez
Why y'all keep denying it? Shams/The Athletic reported on their "clash". Stephen A. Smith talked about it. Tim MacMahon/ESPN reported on it Now you got Vince Goodwill/Yahoo. Anything not pro-Houston, deny deny deny. Oh, LeBron/free agent doesn't like Houston? "No way! That's just the media hating! Rockets are [this free agent's] best choice!" Oh a negative story came out about the Rockets? "No way! That's just the media hating! They're just trying to take the Rockets down & make 'em look bad!" Hell Morey didn't even deny it. He just covered it by saying "They just want to win so badly." But hey, keep burying our heads in the sand, put our fingers in our ears and say "La la la la la not true! La la la la la can't hear you!"
I'd like to hear it from Chris Paul's mouth that he wants out. Surely he's mature enough to go that route in lieu of using his people to spread it to the media right? Spoiler
he did it at the awards show. maybe they're just waiting for rachel nichols to get a pic together to do a part 2 so they can laugh at everyone again
doesn’t matter what the idea was when the reality says differently...CP was a superstar for 1 season here, now he’s not even close Dwight was a superstar I guess his 1st season, after that, most definitely not the reality was that these guys were fading stars due to injury or age
Obviously he is trying to keep the value up high. If everybody in the league knows CP3 wants out they'll get low ball offers.
Only to people that don't like Harden in the first place. What's he supposed to do when ANOTHER injury-plagued former All-Star whines and wants off the team? Harden isn't blameless but whoever is pinning this on Harden is a bit shortsighted. Harden didn't sign Ryan Anderson to that ridiculous deal. Harden didn't buy the team for $2 billion dollars and decide not to spend justenough to get a player like House back. Harden didn't ask to carry the entire team for months at a time last year.
Let's say he (just like all of us) probably wished to have a healty Chris Paul for longer than a single season...but everyone knew he could've declined kinda fast.
thats been my thinking the whole time, but now this "trade demand" comes out i feel like someone is trying to f*ck us over in value.
As I said in a previous thread yesterday, it’s all spin. I’m more than sure many things are being looked at to change the dynamics of the team.
