This talks a bit about the team but the parts I found interesting were the "Notes, Quotes" So I will only post that part...

Notes, Quotes

• With the Rockets heading into the All-Star break with a 32-20 record, they have had at least 30 wins at the break in four of the past five seasons and are one game behind last season's 33-19 pace.

• The Rockets are 17-3 over their past 20 games, the most wins they have had in a 20-game span since going 17-3 early in the 1996-97 season.

• The Rockets had their best and worst scoring quarters of the season, scoring 35 in the first quarter and 10 in the fourth.

• C Yao Ming's three blocked shots moved him past Moses Malone and into second in team history for blocked shots with the Rockets. Yao has 759 career blocked shots in 400 games. Malone had 758 blocked shots in his 464 games with the Rockets, with his final two also coming against the Kings.

• F Steve Novak's game-winner was his first since he was a college senior at Marquette and hit a trey to beat Notre Dame.

"It's like those commercials, where it's three-two-one, and someone honks a horn and they shoot the game-winning shot," Novak said. "I know I dreamed of that for sure. This wasn't the NBA championship and you hit the game-winner. But there's no doubt it was a game we needed to win."

Quote To Note: "I hate to say this, but if we would have lost, if he wouldn't have made that shot and we would have lost that game, that's on us because we should have never been in that position. But it was a big shot on his part and for this team to show us that in situations like that where we are down one and there's only 14 seconds on the clock, we can still win the ball game; that's the type of confidence we have. We're going into this break with a little swagger and hopefully, we can come back the same way." -- Tracy McGrady.

Roster Report

F Luis Scola has moved in as the starter at power forward, with Chuck Hayes, Carl Landry and Steve Novak also taking turns at the position and even finishing games depending on performance and matchups. Since coming back from the flu, G Tracy McGrady is back starting. G Mike James has played sparingly while G Steve Francis and G Kirk Snyder have remained on the inactive list, with Francis out for the year with torn tendons in his right leg. Rookie G Aaron Brooks has moved in as the backup point and often plays as a shooting guard with starting point guard Rafer Alston.

Rotation: Starters -- Point guard Rafer Alston, Shooting guard Tracy McGrady, Center Yao Ming, Forward Luis Scola, Forward Shane Battier. Bench -- Guard Bonzi Wells, Guard Aaron Brooks, Forward Chuck Hayes, Forward Carl Landry, Forward Steve Novak.

Player Notes:

• C Yao Ming hit a high percentage of shots for a second consecutive game, but for a second consecutive game, had difficulty getting enough shots. He made 9-of-15 against the Kings, scoring 25 points with 14 rebounds, a game after he made 7-of-11 for his 25 points against the Trail Blazers.

• G Tracy McGrady's struggles with his shot continued. After making 14 of 40 in the first three games of the homestand, he made just 3-of-12, though he did get six rebounds, three steals and five assists, including the pass to Steve Novak for the game-winning three-point shot.

• F Shane Battier had 15 points, scoring in double-figures for the third time in the four-game homestand, adding three rebounds and three assists and holding Kings' leading scorer Kevin Martin to 3-of-9 shooting.

• G Rafer Alston followed his 17 points against the Trail Blazers with a season-high 23 against the Kings, adding seven assists. He has been especially strong after halftime, averaging nine points on 13-of-19 (.684) shooting in the third quarter of the last four games.
