Looks like we got him for a bargain when we resigned him couple of seasons back. but its still too early to tell though i like the fire i see in him

What does "6th in cumulative ranks and 4th in average rankings" mean?

 

Probably fantasy basketball - related.

 

It means out of the cumulative ranks, 5 people rank higher than him and in the average rankings, 3 players do.

 

It is tough to say. Since we are all fans here and most of us love our Rockets, we tend to look away at some faults. I definitely wouldnt say he's the best PG in the NBA, however he is top 10 without a doubt, top 5 might be a stretch.

 

I remember in the '90s when they used to do a stat where they would add up a players rank in each category, then average his rank across all categories. David Robinson would always win. So when you average player ranks across all statistical categories, Lowry would average 4th in each category. And that's how Robinson always won vs MJ.

So, maybe cumulative is a way to consider how much separation you have from the field in each category. So, MJ would not just be #1 in scoring...he'd much Very #1++. In Lowry's case, cumulative is lower, because Rose scores much more.

Its to the credit of the organization that we traded for him...but making the decision to play Kyle over Brooks when Brooks became healthy is an even greater decision. I suspect we can thank RA for that decision. Its a decision that will provide years and years of benefits to the organization.

 

Do people seriously list DeVry as actual credentials? "BS in Technical Management from DeVry University" carries about as much weight as Antonio Smith's ninja training online.

 

As a fan, im not very proud of this....the writing is very elementary and he's just trying to sell Lowry and houston to DH. C'mon, Morey, you can find a better writer than this...

This guy is an idiot. I always find myself stumbling across his articles when I search for Kyle.

EVERY article he writes mentions Lowry in it and how good he is in fantasy.

EVERY article he writes has absolutely TERRIBLE proofreading, punctuation, and grammar.

EVERY article he writes shows he clearly does not watch basketball games, but makes assumptions of the box score.
