He sounds like a pretty intelligent fella. If he keeps producing he will easily be a fan favorite. There aren't very many philosophy majors in the NFL that is for sure.

 

He sounds eccentric. Like Ricky Williams. Let's pray he doesn't go down that path.

 

Ricky made the right decision for himself. Maybe not for the team and fans, but it was something he had to do to get back on the right track of life. It goes deeper than all the mar1juana stuff.

 

Definitely a little Ricky Williams in him. Interesting cat.

Great article. I didn't realize that dude played HS ball in San Diego. That school is about a mile away from my place now. Pretty cool.

On another note, since the other thread went the way of OJ, what is the nickname for Arian going to be? I figure we could come up with something creative given his story. The Flow maybe? It ties in with his name, his poetry and most importantly his running.

I understand the R.Wiliams comparisons about him being a "off the usual road" type, but he has shown really good humility in these quotes from the link above, that makes me believe his "eccentricness" won't be anything to worry about. . .
