Yahoo sports came out with 14 players who they think should get dealt by the trade deadline next Tuesday. 6 players were mentioned for possible landing spots in Houston. Found it odd and interesting that one of those players that was mentioned was Kyle Orton. Why would we want an aging and overpaid backup QB?

Anyways, something to think about. Sunday can't get here sooner!

Beats me. I may sound like a fool but I think at this point in their respective careers, I would take Matt Leinhart over Orton, but that's just me though.

I did laugh at the fact that all the CB's he mentioned are coming off some major injuries. Just shows you how bad Jackson and Allen are.

Lloyd on next to Andre would be insane though. Finally Andre would have a legit #2 to play next to him.

Out of the 3 CB's on that, which one would rather have?

    Trufant, Bailey, or Winfield?

I don't really understand why the felt the need to mention Dallas for every QB on that list except Kyle Orton... that just seems kind of weird.

As far as which of those CBs I would personally take, I'd probably go with Trufant, but all of them are pretty much equal at this point.

If I were a Texans fan, I'd probably be happy with either one of them.

No doubt Champ!!!...He's the only one in which an opposing QB would be conscious of his whereabouts...and sometimes avoid him

    Trufant, by far.

Might look at Porter/Taylor since depth is an issue for us at OLB.

And Lloyd, well, I tend to agree with the writer... he's way overvalued.

Yeah, seemingly every CB on the market is a "fit" for the Texans. Wonder why something so obvious to fans and writers is a mystery to the Texans' front office?!?

Also, a name that I would have liked to see us go after is Aaron Curry the former first rounder out of Wake Forest. The Seahawks played him at OLB after drafting him, but I think he might be more of a fit inside. I think with DeMeco's injury and diminished play, it would've been interesting to see what Curry could've done as a sideline-to-sideline LB paired with Cushing. Curry might be the next Derrick Johnson who was struggling in the 4-3 but seems to have found a home inside in a 3-4 alignment.

It's a moot point now, looks like the Raiders just picked him up for 2 draft picks.

They know they have a CB problem. That's why they spent the big bucks for Joseph. They just don't know how to find good ones in the draft. Hopefully Phillips helps us out in that regard, but Harris isn't looking too great at the moment.

this teams needs to start outsourcing it's secondary scouting/drafting. They have just been terrible at selecting talent.

They even managed to talk themselves out of McCourty to go with KJ.

A lot of folks on here were of the mindset that we needed two CBs out of this off season. What's the point of having a premium guy on one side if the offense can avoid Joseph by picking on the other CB (KJ or Jason Allen)?

Also, depending on how Brooks Reed pans out, would anyone take a flyer on Joey Porter as a pass rush specialist? He can be this year's Bernard Pollard in that he brings a certain craziness to the unit (and he'd probably be a liability in coverage).

We dont need him... Cushing has resumed his craziness/intimidating presence for our LB core...Everytime he hits someone, he pushes their face to get up, talks a lil ****, stands over him , and nods to the crowd... I love it!!!

I know you know the answer to that question; and your answer is what makes the Texans the Texans. In ALL organizations it is what's upfront (leadership) that counts. Take note of the turnaround in San Fran.

I think the jury is still out on San Fran. 4-1 is nice and all, but let's see them beat somebody good. Philly, Tampa, Bengals, Seahawks? That's pillow soft...

Tampa's pretty bad. Yeah, I know they went 10-6 last year... due to one of the softest schedules you could ever dream up. They're not good at all.

Last time I checked 4-1 is only 1 game better than 3-2.

So according to many posters here:

4-1 = turnaround, heading for the playoffs
3-2 = season over, fire the coach, rebuild

I wasnt basing it off last year, because I too thought they would regress... I think they can win 7/8 games though
