coach k got owned lol! DAMN! Burn after burn. everyone should read this for the drama!

 

Not sure if he "owned" Coach K, but that was a decent reply. Still, it was very foolish for Blatt to make the remarks when he did. Giving fuel for an opponent is a dumb thing to do. I don't care if none of the American players are old enough to remember. All they have to do is observe how it fired up their coach and that will affect them enough.

 

?? What remarks did he make that were fuel to the fire? He responded to Coach K calling him Russian by saying, no, I'm not Russian.

"Oh snap, the coach of the Russian team just b****-slapped Coach K by noting his actual heritage isn't Russian, but American of all things. F that guy, time to go kick some Russian ass!!"

yeah, but he didn't really say anything inflammatory, just expressing his view.

 

Coach K sounded pretty dumb by assuming Blatt was Russian just because he coaches that team. Coach K should have just let that comment go, it's one of those D&D comments that someone makes hoping someone else will bite on so they can go on a soapbox speech, just like what Blatt did.

 

I firmly believe that Russia was able to win the medal in the 1972 Olympics by cheating. The whole world knows that the Russians were given two extra chances by the officials to make a winning shot and steal a 51-50 victory. David Matt has always been a liar. He will say anything and do everything for money. This incident clearly shows that he is not at all patriotic. If he had been patriotic then he would not have offered his services to the Russian team.

american coaches always go on to coach other national teams, one example being one of the guys on the miracle team coaching the french national team, coaching another national team doesn't make you "unpatriotic", that's ridiculous and it only puts mankind backwards if people have the mentality that you do.
