[X Files] Official: X-Files returning to Fox for 6 episodes

I actually watched every episode of this growing up, can't remember anything.

 

Same here.

It's on my next nostalgic binge watching list.

I am on season 7 of ER right now...haha

Feels a bit nostalgic watching X-Files again on Fox.

 

Loved it.

1st episode is a setup - I hope they renew the series or we do like Sherlock in the UK and get several a year.

Jose Chung, "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose", and "The Unnatural" were my favorites.

 

How the hell did the Old Man sneak up behind Mulder in The Mall? pretty spooky

 

watching the xfiles after the late game brought back memories from Jr high and highschool. great set up episode. damn, if fox and dana can't keep a relationship what hope is there for all mankind?

 

i thought the sound was really low and muffled. had to turn up my tv way more than normal and i still could not hear scully's dialogue.

good episode though...cant wait to see where it goes!

 

There was some idiot who did an Internet review and blasted the first episode across the board. Then, he came back with another review after he saw the next two episodes boasting about how great they were.

So, what exactly was so bad about this first episode? I thought it set up what is to come pretty nicely. The two main actors fell perfectly back into their signature roles imo. I liked the ideas that were thrown about in this episode. I think it fits nicely as a possible explanation for everything that has happened so far. It built interest for what is to come.

 

Meh. It was nostalgic but didn't really like it. Esp the car scene.

They were catering to noobz too much. Can't wait until tonight's episode though.

 

I remember three things about the original X-files.

1.) In one episode, someone is telling the story of what Muldur and Scully did as a third party. It included Muldur eating like ten pieces of pie, and then squealing like a girl when he saw an alien. It was chuckle worthy.

2.) An episode with Kathy Griffin, where she was a twin and everytime they were together everyone started fighting one another.

3.) An episode where there was a freak show and a killer something was on the loose. One of the freaks, the guy who will eat anything, ate the monster and end of episode.

 

I liked the girl with the alien drill holes on her stomach.
