I totally agree with the facebook stat. I've been free of that company since before it even existed.

And of course, the opioid deaths stat leads right into our lack of drug treatment and the pharmaceutical industry being loosely regulated.

Of course, you know that, I made those stats up in jest.

However, I do not quite understand, and never have quite understood, giving connotation to "homogeneity" (aka "diversity").

Norway, Japan, and South Korea are all examples of nearly homogeneous countries - two of which have very low immigration rates - yet have a significant impact on the global economy and are well above "shithole" status.

In fact, there was a point in time in America when people thought Japan would overtake the US economy. Certainly, immigration rates, diversity, and "European-style socialism" are not exactly determining factors in a nation's well being.

    We see give-diversity-connotation's cousin: give-population-growth-connotation.

Man, you know Japan and South Korea are "shitholes" - their populations are stagnant or declining. Just like Poland and China.

    Ha!

Seriously - I used to know the real Patrick Gabriel way before there was a clutchfans.

His social media kinda went dark awhile back before he got resurrected as one of Trump's 3 (wait, Omarosa was fired? Make that 2) black supporters...

If you know differently spill the beans man

Didn't know any of that for real.

His discussions on issues not related to the president, i.e. with RR, sounded like the old pgabs. People change, maybe some people change a whole lot or things get changed for them, I dunno.

    I haven't changed. I have grown a little.

My issue with Trump is the world isn't falling apart because he is calling himself a genius for instance. The reaction to this guy being President is ridiculous.

Is it really surprising a reality star made it to the White House? This is the state of this country. I don't support him on 90% of his policies. However stuff like the collusion charges are crazy. I don't care if the FBI is curious. To me they should eventually be held accountable for this stupidity

On race issues, when you have guys like Trader you tend to be defensive as I may have appeared to be in the past. That being said me saying blacks need to be more responsible for our condition isn't political. I want us to improve.

Edit: this s my philosophy on race relations

    We have civil rights

Hispanics have passed us. Samfisher and I went to a private high school together. He is Hispanic. Hispanics were ahead of blacks in numbers academics etc. It was just shocking coming from an all black environment.

We are so far behind and we don't know it. It's scary.

Lastly in everyday life whites have come a long way in race relations and we just refuse to take any olive branches. We stay on that white people are never changing gripe even after a black president.
