Thought you would pair them up?

Davis would need a Top PG.....or Combo PG.

Brow and Beard would be the next Great Commerce.

No.... and AD wouldn’t agree to sign long term without him

Lol, why? AD is worse than Harden and not nearly as impactful. We’d be regressing. Also, there is no way in hell AD would ever agree to stay in Houston long-term to waste away his prime with aging CP0 on an albatross deal and no Harden. We need to stop it with all this fantasy...

AD can't lead a team anywhere, he can only be the #2 guy on a championship team, not #1.

Finally the 6'9 6'10 PF we need & deserve!

    NO!

    Kawhi, Steph, KD or bust!
Not Dame, Not McCollum, not Davis, not Zion, not 35 year old LerBon, not Beal, not Wall, not Kemba, not Butler, not Porter, not Markkanen, or anyone else you're thinking of!

Remember when Davis had Anderson & Gordon, had 3/4 losing seasons, come to Houston & Rockets win 55 games?

    Davis: 7 years in the league; 2 winning seasons; 2 playoff appearances (L 4-0 Warriors 2014-15; W 4-0 Blazers; L 4-1 Warriors 2017-18)

I know, I know Davis just doesn't have enough help.

There’s 3 players in the league I’d trade harden for... would be 4 if Lebron wasn’t as old as he is

No. AD is better as a two way player, but he is a flake. A quitter on a good team. James carried the team to the playoffs and did quite well despite his weaknesses. He is a Rocket, and he should remain one.

Not that he's better than Harden, but Davis is younger and isn't feuding with cp3

OP every morning for the last seven years: "Today's the day! I'm gonna do it!"

OP every night for the last seven years: "Dammit! I suck!"

Hell no! As talented as AD is, he's also injury prone and misses a lot of games every year.

too injury prone. never really demanded his teams' gm/owner to make the team competitive. just sorta hoped for it instead. thats a bad sign.

Rock City, I've brought this up before and been shouted down by Harden loyalists. Yes, you 100% do that if you're Morey. The age difference makes it an easy call, and since HOU can't move CP3's contract, putting him on the ball makes better use of his remaining skill set than putting him in the corner to watch Harden play iso.

As Fattz notes, it also offers a more balanced lineup - right now the top three offensive weapons are all guards, swapping one of them for an All-Star versatile big would help.

EDIT: He gives you at least 75% of Harden's scoring and is one of the best rim protectors in the league. Also weren't a lot of folks here frustrated by the lack of rebounding against GS???
