House'd defense is improving week over week. Ariza's defense is declining year over year. House is on par with Ariza today and won't be long until he catches up to Ariza of last year. His athleticism makes up for his lower bbiq on the defensive end but he is better defensively these playoffs so far than what I saw in his first jaunt with the team. House, Rivers, Gordan have all seen their defense improve dramatically since the all-star break. Gordan is playing the best basketball of his career right now from an advanced analytics perspective. He's scoring efficiently and defending very well. His place in the line-up more than makes up for the loss of Ariza. Have some positive thinking - no reason to be pessimistic at this point. PS what's up with you bringing up Luc - the guy didn't even play in the playoffs last year due to his injury. How can we miss someone who couldn't play?
House' defense is improving. Agreed. But House CANNOT defend 5's. Draymond will eat him alive down low if it comes to that. (Probably won't.)
Draymond isn't going to post often. KD usually is the one who gets into the post near the free throw line. If draymond is low he's looking to pass to a cutter as outside of layups and dunks he's not doing much efficient scoring. House can guard Green down low - but pretty much anyone can. Real issue with warriors is the scramble they create with their ball movement. But Rockets are great a disruption so that's the battle - if the Rockets can force turnovers they will have the edge. On the flip side, Rockets role players have to hit at good enough % to keep warriors from cheating on Harden. That's the series. Pretty simple.
Kendrick Perkins... not Sam Perkins and not Kendrick Lamar... says that Capela is a top level center...
Hell no Just because Capela coming off an infection and no rest has a bad game Makes nothing the Newb King says is true
I'm actually looking for a post I made earlier in the season talking about Harden going back to ball hogging and we would not win a championship with his usage and turnovers that high. Found this instead.
After tonight i hope it is obvious to every Rockets fan here how important a floor spacer at the 5 is if we want to beat the Warriors AND THE OTHER TEAMS COMING UP TO CONTENDER STATUS.
