    Let's say free agency ends with Morey striking out on all the big names. The trades he attempts that would drastically improve the roster also fail. The question is would you be surprised if there were no real significant upgrades to the roster before the season?

    Not at all. It will be so disappointing if we don't find a way to upgrade one starter.

    I would. And there wouldn't be any reason for me to be excited about basketball.

    Too predictable. The Warriors ruined it for me.

    So basically this is just another Summer? Free IPads. 28 inch Tvs for Dragic. No not surprised. More like expecting them to strike out at a pace the old Astros would.

    All I heard all season was how Harden had this great supporting cast. So much better than what Westbrook had.

    Why Morey want to blow things up? Has dynamite up his sleeves? 55 wins and great supporting cast. Boom.

    I would be surprised, I think there is at least one upgrade available, and we have a good GM, a coach with a system players enjoy, a major city, and a top 10 player in James Harden.

    Will it be who everyone wants? Probably not.
    Will it be some sort of upgrade? Probably.

    I hope so. I just wonder with all the something up our sleeve talk if Morey has unreasonably raised expectations. You can't say we've got something up our sleeves for the Warriors and only end up adding a role player or two.

    No, I won't be surprised.

    I also won't be surprised when that leads to 30% of CF screaming that Morey needs to be fired, and then that leads to 30% of CF screaming in Morey's defense that if he didn't do something then it MUST be because that was the right thing to do!!!

    And then the remaining 40% will let out a sigh and log off CF until free agency picks up.

    I'd be surprised if we didn't at least make a change and claim its an upgrade... lol
    Something like Ariza vs Gallo....
    or Ryno vs PPat....
    The kind of move that there would be pros and cons to either side of the deal.... but DM will insist is a def upgrade and various posters will agree - and say those that dont see it as crystal clear improvement are stupid....

    But we will do something... worst case scenario we will overpay for mediocrity (ie Ryno) and claim we've improved...

    and no matter what we do... there will be the posters that say it's meaningless... cause it's not enough to beat GSW so why bother.... lol

    after the sh!tshow put on be this team in game 6, i would genuinely be surprised if any star player actually volunteered to join here
