WOULD U TRADE A #1, JACOBY, WALTER, AND POLLARD FOR TRENT WILLIAMS AND LARON LANDRY?

Yeah, I'll trade away our team's vocal leader, the only reasons teams don't quintuple team Andre Johnson, and a future #1 for an unproven rookie (who got hurt today) and a good safety (although someone who could potentially be duplicated with said #1.)

Makes sense.

Okay why would you want to trade the heart of the team, a guy who might be the most underrated WR in the game, an explosive guy that will be a dynamic #2 shortly and a #1 pick for a nice but also part of a secondary who gave up almost 500 yards passing today and a nice rookie OL but maybe out for a while with an injury?

 

So we would replace pollard with landry and maybe get a little better

we would replace brown with williams and perhaps move brown .. ok line gets better (williams ran a 4.8 so i guess he is fast enough to be good with zone blocking)

our starting WRs would be .. umm andre johnson and david anderson?????
oh yah and we can bring back the dude that is a TE converted to WR..
lets not forget we would have to find someone to replace one of the games most dangerous punt returner ..

also find a way to replace a vocal leader in pollard

also lose a potential starter with next years number 1 condidering kareem jackson, cushing, brown, okoye, williams are our last number one picks and all have been 1st year starters .. infact .. there are only 4 former texan number 1 picks who are not current starters although all of them started until they were not with the team (the four being david carr, travis johnson, duante robinson and jason babin.) although 2 of them start for their current teams

point being number 1 picks are serious things not just throw ins

so in summary no no no no no no no no no


also find a way to replace the GM for making such a dumb trade

Yep, this is a dumb trade quite frankly.

Nevermind that we are more than solid at LT and SS. So lets trade away our depth at WR, a #1 pick, and a leader on defense address positions that aren't even a need.

It would've made more sense if Battier was covering Moss's face as he went up for the ball!.... In this view, he just gave up a TD =(

 

I don't know how you came up with this trade scenario... but trading away our 2nd & 3rd best receiver, plus a #1 pick, to improve slightly at posiitions that aren't of need? Now all of a sudden, we're weak at receiver.
