I'm not sure this would be a good trade for us, but would you do it?

Steph might not be able to get off his shots when consistently double teamed and he would not have very many assists passing to the bricklayers.

The Warriors might be willing to also throw in some good role players for Terrence Jones and Brewer to sweeten the pot a bit.

... with a couple of firsts, and with roster flexibility available this summer, yeah sure I'd do it. You can re-tool to suit Curry and use the 2 firsts to start building.

Without the 2 firsts we're just wasting our team. Given the same quality team and coach, they are equally good, and Harden might actually be better.

Curry has earned everything he gets. No matter what excuse you put up, the offensive numbers are insane, historic. Yes he benefits from star treatment, yes he has a great team, yes he has a great coach, etc. Most people who have had all those things have not produced like him.

With that said, in an open draft, I still take Harden. Less injury prone, more clutch, draws more defensive attention with his style. It's easier to build a team around Harden than Curry.

What might swing me the other way is Curry's willingness to be more team-oriented and show less stubbornness towards coach/criticism.

I'd be willing to trade everyone on this roster except Brewer and Jones for Curry

Only if the Curry we're talking about is Eddy Curry.

Draymond, Barnes & Klay bricking as well as the entire team getting exposed on defense is simply because Curry's a terrible leader. Probably doesn't even ride the team bus.

    DO
    NOT
    WANT

We need REAL leaders on this team that make their teammates better.

Looks like GS has hit the wall; shouldn't have worried so much about winning 73, not if they really wanted to repat.

And you think there's a chance in hell the Warriors would even entertain this idea? Steph Curry, who has (or had) his own dropdown "Nothing but Steph" on ESPN's NBA site?

The player whose child(ren?) everyone in the Bay Area would want to adopt if something happened to his parents?

    Wait....this is sarcasm. A troll-post. I got suckered in?

These playoffs have proved harden is the better player. That isn't a joke either. Curry is a glorified shooter.

I think we may be missing glynch's subtle sense of humor. Two firsts isn't enough. They have to take some of our bad contracts and give us one of their wings, as well.
